We all enjoy the catchy tunes that open and close out innumerable anime shows, and Crunchyroll is building on that by adding concerts and short-form music videos from Sony Music Entertainment (Japan) Inc. (SMEJ) on their streaming service.

Fans can look forward to over 100 recorded performances by well-known bands signed to labels under SMEJ — Asian Kung-Fu Generation, Ikimonogakari, UVERworld, BURNOUT SYNDROMES, Porno Graffitti, SAYURI, Queen Bee, milet, DISH//, hitorie, Ryokuoushoku Shakai, Hitsujibungaku, okazakitaiiku, Flower Flower, among others.

The relationship between the Japanese music scene and anime is very tight; artists whose music is used on screen often travel globally to perform at anime conventions to the delight of attendees.

Videos are available only with a paid Crunchyroll membership.
