To mark the Swordsmith Village Arc finale of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Crunchyroll, Aniplex of America, and Aniplex, Inc., are bringing the battle to Times Square for all to enjoy at 9:00 pm EDT (6:00 pm PDT) on Saturday, June 17th, 2023.
This one-hour event will incorporate scenes from the show along the massive electronic displays in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. Can’t make it to NYC? Crunchyroll will broadcast the spectacle live on Instagram.
The Swordsmith Village Arc adapts the storyline of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga by Koyoharu Gotoge following the adventures of the Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito and Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji. It premiered on April 9th, 2023. Leading up to these episodes, Aniplex and Crunchyroll brought Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Swordsmith Village- World Tour to theatres worldwide, providing an introduction to the new season by combining the final two episodes of the Entertainment District Arc with the first of the Swordsmith Village Arc.
The last episode of the Swordsmith Village Arc will stream on Sunday, June 18th, 2023 on Crunchyroll.
