Second season of The Duke of Death and His Maid to air on July 9, 2023

A second season of the anime adaptation of The Duke of Death and His Maid by Koharu Inoue is scheduled to premiere on July 9th, 2023.

Opening the new episodes is the song “Kimi to Revue” performed by Natsuki Hanae and Ayumi Mano, while “Hoshizuku Requiem” by Nasuo☆ will play during the closing credits.

The Japanese voice cast includes the following:

  • Natsuki Hanae as Bocchan
  • Ayumi Mano as Alice
  • Hochu Otsuka as Rob
  • Inori Minase as Viola
  • Wakana Kuramochi as Cuff
  • Hiroshi Kamiya as Zain
  • Yuma Uchida as Walter
  • Yoko Hikasa as Daleth

Cursed as young boy, “Bocchan” finds himself locked away from the world all because of his ability to kill with a simple touch of his hands. However, under the care of his maid Alice and the butler Rob, Bocchan has improved his confidence, but still has work to do in order to lift the curse so he can finally move on with his life. Despite Bocchan’s terrifying ability, both he and Alice find ways to work around this deadly detail and form a unique romance between themselves.

Crunchyroll will likely carry The Duke of Death and His Maid as the first season is available on their platform.

Based on the manga by Koharu Inoue, The Duke of Death and His Maid is compiled into 16 volumes available from Shogakukan, while Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the English-translated editions in North America.
