PNE Playland Wooden Roller Coaster

PNE Fair 2023 opens this Saturday for two weeks of fun!

What better way to end summer than an afternoon (or evening) at the PNE Fair? The gates at Hastings Park open on Saturday, August 19th, 2023 for the two week extravaganza of food, live entertainment, rides and more!

Attractions this year include the famous canines of the SuperDogs, jousting on horseback with the Knights of Valour, an immersive Monet artwork exhibit, livestock displays, drag shows, cooking demonstrations, Summer Night Concerts, fireworks, the PNE Prize Home and more!

The Summer Night Concerts has a stellar line-up with TLC, Boyz II Men, Jason Derulo, Yung Gravy & bhno$, Billy Idol, Pat Benatar, Neil Giraldo, Aqua, Boney M, Doug and the Slugs, the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, Pink Martini featuring China Forbes, Billy Talent, Tenille Townes, Walk off the Earth, and Blue Rodeo. Additional tickets separate from the fair admission are required to catch these performances.

If your stomach can handle it, grab a Ride Pass (purchased separately from the Gate Pass) and hang on with the exhilarating Atmosfear, Hellevator, or classic Pirate Ship and legendary Wooden Roller Coaster.

Tickets are available online or at the gate — purchase in advance for a discount: $20 for adults online, or $25 at the fair; $14 for seniors (ages 65 and over) and youth (ages 13-18) or $16 at the fair; and $7 for children (ages 4-12) or $9 at the fair. Additional passes are required for PlayLand rides: $50 in advance or $55 at the fair. View the PNE web site for further details and pricing.

The PNE Fair is open 11:00 am until 11:00 pm from August 19th until September 4th, 2023 and is closed Monday, August 21st and Monday, August 28th.

Parking is limited — the best way to visit the PNE Fair is by transit! Take the Millennium Line to Rupert Station and exit for the 27 bus, or alight at Renfrew Station for the 16 bus to get to Hastings Park.
