Lego mini-figures of Animal Crossing characters revealed

An 11-second video featuring a handful of islanders from Animal Crossing: New Horizons as Lego mini-figures was shared across Nintendo’s X (Twitter) profiles on Thursday, providing a glimpse at an expanding partnership between Nintendo and Lego.

Appearing in the clip are the blue cat Rosie, aptly named rabbit Bunnie, popular squirrel Marshal, sea-bound kappa Kapp’n, deer fawn Fauna, unicorn Julian, cheerful civil servant Isabelle, and the entrepreneurial tanuki Tom Nook.

In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, players find themselves on a deserted island where they must build a community with adorable animal residents. As the only human, players will arrange homes, catch creatures, plant greenery and can visit other islands to trade or purchase items for use on their island.

Nintendo and Lego did not provide any further details or release date for the collaboration.

The Japanese video game company has worked with the Danish toymaker before, with the Super Mario product line and an interactive NES with classic television set.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons was released on March 20th, 2023 for the Nintendo Switch
