My Hero Academia - Season 7

My Hero Academia season premiere date and teaser revealed at Jump Festa 2024

Next year is a big one for My Hero Academia as the manga celebrates its 10th anniversary; the seventh season of the anime premieres on May 4th, 2024, followed by the fourth movie in the summer.

Appearing on the Jump Super Stage Red at this year’s Jump Festa were the voice actors from the anime: Daiki Yamashita (Izuku Midoriya), Nobuhiko Okamoto (Katsuki Bakugo), Ayane Sakura (Ochaco Uraraka), Kenta Miyaki (All Might), and Kouki Uchiyama (Tomura Shigaraki).

Earlier in the week, a special promotional poster for the upcoming season was revealed of Izuku, Katsuki, Ochaco, and Shoto Todoroki, but did not include a video. That video was instead released a few days later and replayed at Jump Festa.

In addition to these announcements, the voice cast reminisced on their work, recreating their favourite scenes from the manga as well as revisiting key moments throughout the series. Daiki Yamashita read outloud a letter from creator Kohei Horikoshi that covered how much is left to go in the manga, plans for next year’s Jump Festa, and well wishes to readers to stay warm. Horikoshi also included a special illustration of the characters voiced by the Jump Festa panel hosts wearing outfits from the 1950’s.
