The fighting game featuring characters from Yoshihiro Togashi’s HUNTER×HUNTER manga is officially confirmed to launch on Thursday, July 17th, 2025 according to the North American publisher Arc System Works America.
HUNTER×HUNTER NEN×IMPACT will let players participate in 3-on-3 either locally offline or online. Offline modes include a Free Battle, Training Mode, Story Mode and a Single Mode; with Online players can battle against others around the world, Ranked Match to accumulate points in becoming a “Triple Hunter,” and the Player Match lets friends fight in private rooms.
Confirmed playable characters include Gon Freecs, Killua Zoldyck, Hisoka, Kurapika, Netero, Leorio, Bisky, Machi, Uvogin, Chrollo, Feitan, Meruem, Genthru, Razor, Morel, and Kite. Additional characters, like Nephelpito, are expected through downloadable content packs after release.
Developed by Bushiroad Games and published by Arc System Works, HUNTER×HUNTER NEN×IMPACT will launch on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. Pre-orders are now available online, which is bundled with bonus outfit colours, while the Steam and PS5 versions offer early access to the game 48 hours before its official release.
