Anime streaming giant Crunchyroll has announced that Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc is scheduled for a spring release on their service, though a specific date was not revealed.
Crunchyroll provided a synopsis of the film in a press release:
Based on the hugely popular anime series, Chainsaw Man continues in an all-new epic, action-fueled adventure. Amid a brutal war between devils and hunters, another battle starts in Denji’s heart when he meets a mysterious girl named Reze. Facing secret enemies and fighting for his humanity, Denji revs up for his deadliest battle yet.
Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc opened in Japanese theatres on Friday, September 19th, 2025, followed by Canadian premiere a month later on Friday, October 24th, 2025.

The movie was directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara, with a screenplay written by Hiroshi Seko, based on the original story by Tatsuki Fujimoto, and with animation production by MAPPA.
The Japanese voice cast features:
- Kikunosuke Toya as the voice of Denji / Chainsaw Man
- Reina Ueda as the voice of Reze
- Tomori Kusunoki as the voice of Makima
- Fairouz Ai as the voice of Power
- Shôgo Sakata as the voice of Aki Hayakawa
- Shiori Izawa as the voice of Pochita
- Natsuki Hanae as the voice of Beam / Shark Fiend
Appearing in the English voice cast are:
- Ryan Colt Levy as the voice of Denji / Chainsaw Man
- Alexis Tipton as the voice of as the voice of Reze
- Suzie Yeung as the voice of Makima
- Sarah Wiedenheft as the voice of Power

- Lindsay Seidel as the voice of Pochita

Chainsaw Man is written and illustrated by Tatsuki Fujimoto and is currently serialized in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+. It is available globally through the MANGA Plus app with an English translated edition available in North America from VIZ Media. The anime ran for 12 episodes from October 12th, 2022, until December 28th, 2022, and streams on Crunchyroll.
