As the anime Bleach enters is climax, a special key visual was shared to the official Bleach animation Twitter/X account showing protagonist Ichigo Kurosaki as he looked throughout the series.
The image, which first appeared in Issue 38 of Weekly Shonen Jump in 2010, now features Ichigo in his Final Getsuga Tensho form. Masashi Kudo, the animeโs character designer and chief animation director, created the illustration.
Its release coincides with a revisit to the anime, which aired between Octoberย 2004 and March 2012, called BLEACH THE STORIES. VIZ Media intends to release all episodes from the Substitute Arc through the Arrancar Arc on its YouTube channel for a limited time starting Saturday, March 21st, 2026.
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War -Tales of Calamity- is scheduled to air in July 2026, and will stream on Disney+ in Canada.
