A new trailer and key visual have been unveiled ahead of the second season of The Beginning After the End, which begins streaming on Crunchyroll on Wednesday, April 1st, 2026.
The trailer features a preview of the opening theme, “Sayonara janai hou ga ii,” performed by the three‑piece Japanese rock band SIX LOUNGE. A closing theme, “Futatsu no Michi” by Japanese idol group 22/7 was confirmed, but does not play in the video.
The Japanese voice cast features:
- Natsumi Fujiwara as the voice of Arthur Leywin
- Makoto Furukawa as the voice of Grey
- Kana Ichinose as the voice of Tessia Eralith
- Yamato Kinjo as the voice of Reynolds Leywin
- Rena Maeda as Alice the voice of Leywin
- Chiaki Omigawa as the voice of Jasmine Flamesworth
- Shinya Takahashi as the voice of Durden Walker
- Taihi Kimura as the voice of Adam Krensh
- Miyuu Ogura as the voice of Helen Shard
- Riko Akechi as the voice of Angela Rose
- Shiori Izawa as the voice of Sylvia

A synopsis of The Beginning After the End second season was provided in a written release from Crunchyroll:
Arthur, now an adventurer, completes quest after quest alongside Jasmine, honing his swordsmanship and mana. One day, Brald, an AA-ranked adventurer, invites them to participate in a certain quest. Though Arthur and his companions wonder why they were chosen, Arthur decides to accept it as his final quest before entering the Academy. However, an unimaginable tragedy awaits them.
Based on the Webtoon written by TurtleMe and illustrated by Fuyuki23, The Beginning After the End is available digitally through Tapas and in print from Yen Press. The anime adaptation, produced by Studio A-CAT, premiered on April 2, 2025, and ran for 12 episodes, which are available on Crunchyroll.
