Who knew that Satan has to pay rent? Escaping a vicious battle to claim his kingdom, Satan arrives in Tokyo to discover he’s not what he once was. Teaming up with one of his generals who fled with him, Satan must learn what it takes to survive on minimum wage.
The Devil is a Part-Timer! is a short series — 13 episodes of cool battles and hilarity that see the dark lord flipping burgers and a heroine, Emilia, who handles insurance claims over the phone. Of course, the interactions Satan and Emilia are tested not only by their past, but by the presence of mortal humans whom they associate with on a daily basis.
Two versions of the The Devil is a Part-Timer! will be available for purchase through FUNimation on July 22nd, 2014: a four-disc DVD and Blu-ray special edition and a regular four-disc DVD and Blu-ray edition.
