The threat of rain and dark clouds didn’t dampen the thousands of people who came out to take in the first night of the Honda Celebration of Light. First on the list for the 25th anniversary of the fireworks festival was Lidu Fireworks for Team China. With spectacular colour and form, China’s performance drew many oohs and ahhs from the crowd.

There’s still two more nights of the colourful explosives: Brazil on Wednesday, July 29th, and Canada on Saturday, August 1st. The show starts promptly at 10:00 pm, so get there early!
