To celebrate the 20 years of Masashi Kishimoto’s manga Naruto, Crunchyroll is set to stream the 24-hour event NARUTO to BORUTO THE LIVE 2019 which begins at 6:00 pm PDT (9:00 pm EDT), on Wednesday, October 9th, 2019 and ends at 6:00 pm PDT (9:00 pm EDT) on Thursday, October 10th, 2019.

NARUTO to BORUTO THE LIVE 2019 will include performances from the bands FLOW, KANA-BOON, Game-Jikkyosha Wakuwaku Band, Little Glee Monster, SNOWKEL, DISH//, and FUJIFABRIC. The Japanese voice cast from the anime series Naruto and Boruto: Naruto Next Generations will live-read special episodes in character. The cast includes Junko Takeuchi as Naruto Uzumaki, Noriaki Sugiyama as Sasuke Uchiha, Chie Nakamura as Sakura Uchiha, Nana Mizuki as Hinata Uzumaki, Yuko Sanpei as Boruto Uzumaki, Cocoro Kikuchi as Sarada Uchiha, Ryuichi Kijima as Mitsuki and Kensho Ono as Shikadai Nara.

Naruto first appeared in Weekly Shonen Jump in September 1999.

The character, Naruto Uzumaki, has his birthday on Thursday, October 10th.
