Nintendo to release Animal Crossing-themed Switch in time for Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Nintendo has unveiled a new themed Switch console just in time for the upcoming launch of Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Decorated with images of Tom Nook and his sons Tommy and Timmy, the system includes two Joy-Cons in pastel blue and green, and comes with a white dock for playing on a television.

The Animal Crossing-themed Nintendo Switch goes on sale in store on March 13th, 2020 with a suggested retail price of $299.99 USD. Select retailers (not mentioned by Nintendo in their press release) will accept pre-orders shortly.

In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the industrious Tom Nook has come up with a way to make more bells by offering players a chance to start a new life with his Nook Inc. Deserted Island Getaway Package. Settling in on a remote tropical paradise, players can take advantage of the immense island to build their home, take up crafting, customizing their appearance and sharing experiences with their friends.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons launches on March 20th, 2020 for the Nintendo Switch with a suggested retail price of $59.99 USD.
