The shores of the Lental region are teeming with Pokémon, a perfect opportunity to photograph them in the upcoming Nintendo Switch title New Pokémon Snap which releases on April 30th, 2021.
Unveiled last year, New Pokémon Snap allows players to explore Lental, from its lush forests, sandy beaches and far-reaching plains, Pokémon of all sorts lurk in this untamed wilderness. Players can capture Pokémon, not with a Poké Ball, but a camera, at play in their habitats on the ground, the sky and water. Using treats to lure their attention for the best shot, some will hide away in the undergrowth.
With instructions from Professor Mirror and his assistant Rita, players will sit in a NEO-ONE self-driving all-terrain vehicle that navigates Lental in search of its non-human residents. The best photos taken not only increase your score, especially if caught in the midst of their activities, but can help uncover the mysteries of this new region.
New Pokémon Snap will work on both the Nintendo Switch and Switch Lite consoles.
The Pokémon franchise celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.
