This afternoon, the official YouTube channel for Toho Animation uploaded a new trailer for the upcoming film My Hero Academia – The Movie – World Heroes’ Mission as well as the theme song for the anime flick by Japanese rock band Asian Kung-Fu Generation.

The song “Empathy” was created by Ryosuke Shimomura, who’s active with the group The Chef Cooks Me, according to a post on Twitter by the band Asian Kung-Fu Generation. The tweet adds that Chef Cooks Me was involved with the musical arrangement as co-producer of the song. Composer Yuki Hayashi scored the background music for the film.

A specially formed “World Selection Hero Team” comprised of professional heroes from around the globe extends invites to the likes of of Izuku “Deku” Midoriya, Shoto Todoroki and Katsuki Bakugo to stop Humanize from carrying out their scheme.

A special companion manga will be distributed at Toho Cinemas to attendees which will include artwork by My Hero Academia manga creator Kohei Horikoshi as well as bonus content featuring the voice cast.
