On January 29th, 2019, fans finally got their hands on the long-awaited Kingdom Hearts III when it released on both the PS4 and Xbox One consoles. Since then, fans can now play Kingdom Hearts III on Windows PC and, as of this month, the Nintendo Switch.

Continuing with the adventures in worlds crafted from Disney and Pixar movies, Kingdom Hearts III opened the doors to new realms of Arandelle (Frozen), Kingdom of Corona (Tangled), Toy Box (Toy Story), Monstroplis (Monsters, Inc), and San Fransokyo (Big Hero 6). Of course, Sora, Donald and Goofy reunited with Riku, Kairi and Mickey along with many familiar Disney faces as they seek to secure the fabled source of it all — Kingdom Hearts.

Although posted ten days prior to today, a video of Hikaru Utada singing the game’s theme song “Face My Fears” was uploaded to YouTube. The video coincides with Utada’s recent online concert titled “Hikaru Utada Live Sessions from Air Studios”.

Developed by Square Enix in partnership with Disney, the first Kingdom Hearts game released on the PlayStation 2 in 2002 and has become a worldwide phenomenon, spurring over a dozen titles on multiple consoles and mobile devices, plus manga, and even live concerts featuring the enchanting music from these beloved games.
