As of today, anime fans can enjoy anime on the go, at home, or wherever, with the Crunchyroll app on the Nintendo Switch family of video game consoles.
Free-to-download through the Nintendo eShop, provides anime fans another way to enjoy over a thousand series, comprising of some 30,000 episodes, including Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, One Piece, and Attack on Titan.
Running on Epic Games Unreal Engine, the Crunchyroll app allows fans to watch their their favourite shows while docked or in tabletop mode or offline when in handheld mode. Plus, get your friends in on the action by sharing your top pics with your friends.
The Crunchyroll app is available on the Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4/5, Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Chromecast, Android TV, Android mobile devices, and iOS mobile devices.
Funimation, which acquired Crunchyroll last August, has a competing app for streaming anime on the Nintendo Switch.
