Even though Metro Vancouver is getting its first taste of summer this weekend, beat the heat by heading to the Anvil Centre in New Westminster and play some classic video games at the Vancouver Retro Gaming Expo on Saturday, June 25th, 2022.
Between 11:00 am and 9:00 pm, gamers can peruse tables on the ground floor piled high with new and old titles, consoles, accessories, artwork and handicrafts. Open gaming is available on the third and fourth floors, with consoles of all generations fired up and waiting. Feeling bold? Take part in a Street Fighter, Super Smash Bros. or Mario Kart tournament on the fourth floor. Or, have a break and learn about vintage game collecting, beef up you retro gaming knowledge or enjoy some tunes in the panels rooms.
Tickets for the Vancouver Retro Gaming Expo are available online or at the door for $25.00. The Anvil Centre is a quick five-minute walk from the New Westminster SkyTrain station on the Expo Line.
