It’s time to dust off those cosplays! AniRevo Summer (short for Anime Revolution) is back at the Vancouver Convention Centre for three days of anime, manga and Japanese pop culture July 29th-31st, 2022. If you see your favourite heroes (or villains) downtown, that’s why!

Inside, attendees can find vendors selling the latest anime, manga and merch, panel rooms, screenings, autograph signings and events including a rave on Saturday evening.

This year’s guest line-up features a mix of English and Japanese voice actors: Graham Hamilton (Hello Hero: Epic Battle, Rock Dog 3: Battle the Beat, and Dragalia Lost), Toru Furuya (Sailor Moon, Mobile Suit Gundam, and Dragon Ball), Katsuyuki Konishi (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Bleach, and Tokyo Ghoul), Brian Drummond (Dragon Ball Z, Death Note, and Mobile Suit Gundam Seed), Toby Proctor (Sailor Moon and Ranma ½), Cathy Weseluck (Death Note, World Trigger, and Gundam Wing) along with the Vtubers Irys and Ouro Kronii, and improv troupes The Fictionals and The 404’s.

Admission to AniRevo requires badges which are available online or for purchase at the door on the days of the convention. Congoers who bought passes for 2020 automatically have their admission rolled over to this year.
