Leading up to the launch of Splatoon 3, Nintendo has unveiled a special edition Switch OLED model decorated in the graffiti and colours from the game. This Splatoon 3-themed Nintendo Switch OLED releases on August 26th, 2022 for a suggested retail price in Canada of $449.99 CAD.
The Nintendo Switch OLED system has a 7-inch OLED screen for crisper colour and darker blacks, wider table stand, 64 GB of internal storage (some of which is reserved for the system), and dock with a dedicated ethernet port. Included are a pair of Joy-Con controllers — the left in a blue-purple gradient and the right in a volt-lime gradient. The dock is white with monochromatic graffiti that appears in the Splatoon 3 game, and a splotch of neon green paint.
A Nintendo Switch Pro controller, sold separately, is embellished with more Splatoon motifs — the left handle is purple and the right is neon green. The rest of the controller is graphite coloured with monochromatic paint splats and team logos used in-game.
Splatoon 3, which is compatible with all models of the Nintendo Switch family, launches on September 9th, 2022 with a retail price of $79.99 CAD. The Splatoon 3-themed Pro Controller is priced at $89.99 CAD.
