Second season of Jujutsu Kaisen revealed for July 2023

Heads up Jujutsu Sorcerers! A second season of the anime Jujutsu Kaisen is scheduled to broadcast in July 2023. The announcement was made on Twitter which also included promotional artwork featuring Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto.

The new season delves into Gojo’s past missions with Geto, before becoming sworn enemies.

Fans in Japan can watch Jujutsu Kaisen on MBS and TBS affiliated stations across the country. While it’s unconfirmed, it’s more than likely Crunchyroll will stream these episodes online for a global audience, as it has with the first season and flick Jujutsu Kaisen 0.

Additional information regarding the new season is expected during the Jujutsu Kaisen stage event at Anime Japan which takes place at 12:45 pm JST on Saturday, March 25th, 2023.

Jujutsu Kaisen is written and illustrated by Gege Akutami is serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine. In North America, Viz Media distributes the English-translated versions of the manga in both print and digital formats.
