Get ready to hit the high seas with Senku as the third season of Dr. Stone begins streaming April 6th, 2023 on Crunchyroll.

Titled Dr. Stone: New World, Senku and his friends sail into uncharted waters looking for more resources to continue with reviving humanity. Landing on a seemingly uninhabited island, the scientific society finds themselves in trouble…

The song “Wasuregataki” by Huwie Ishizaki will open the new episodes; a closing theme was not mentioned.

Set 3,700 years in the future following a mysterious flash that petrified all life on Earth, Senku, a Japanese student awakens to a world devoid of humans who still remain frozen in place. Slowly, a handful of humans awaken from their rocky prisons and attempt to restart civilization. Using his own knowledge, Senku begins to recreate lost technologies and bring back those he knew from the year 2038.

The anime is an adaptation of the manga written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Boichi, which was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from March 6th, 2017 until March 7th, 2022.

Editor’s note

An earlier version incorrectly called the third season as Dr. Stone New Word instead of Dr. Stone New World.
