SPY×FAMILY

Two new teaser artwork revealed for second season of SPY×FAMILY

In anticipation of the forthcoming second season of the hit anime SPY×FAMILY, two images to promote it were shared to social media earlier this week.

Illustrated by Kazuaki Shimada, the first image shows silent assassin Yor Forger, telepathic student Anya Forger, the precognitive Bond and secret agent Loid Forger posed for action; the second image is more lighthearted, with Anya avoiding her homework, enjoying a visit out in the park with Bond, and concerned over the concoction Yor has cooked up in the kitchen.

Ostania and Westalis are at war — Westalis calls up their best spy, codenamed “Twilight”, to infiltrate and mingle with Ostania’s crème de la crème of society. Twilight — now as Loid Forger — builds his family, his new wife Yor Briar and adopted daughter Anya have their own special skills, unbeknownst to each other. This makes for unpredictable scenarios where each of their own true identities must remain a secret for the success of their mission.

The second season of SPY×FAMILY will air in October 2023 on TV Tokyo and its affiliate channels across Japan.

SPY×FAMILY is an adaptation of the manga of the same name by Tatsuya Endo which appears in Shueisha’s online Shonen Jump+ in Japan and is published by Viz Media in North America. Outside of Asia, SPY×FAMILY is available subbed and dubbed on anime streaming service Crunchyroll.
