Following a three-and-a-half month hiatus, the next chapters of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations will appear in the October 2023 edition of Shueisha’s monthly manga magazine V Jump, which goes on sale August 21st, 2023.

The announcement was shared on social media with the title becoming Boruto -Two Blue Vortex- and revealed artwork of an older Sarada Uchiha, daughter of Sasuke and Sakura, wearing what appears to be an Akatsuki cloak. It’s understood that the manga has undergone a time skip, similar to that with Naruto and Naruto Shippuden.

The text on the image reads the series name, followed by the names of Masashi Kishimoto and Mikio Ikemoto, and that it will appear in the October edition of V Jump which lands on store shelves in Japan on August 21st, 2023.

Work on the manga, which is illustrated by Mikio Ikemoto and drawn by written by Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto, was paused upon the release of the June issue of V Jump earlier this year. Boruto was originally serialized in Shueisha’s larger Weekly Shonen Jump circular but dropped into the monthly V Jump in July 2019.
