One Piece 1000 Commemorative Battle of Onigashima

English dub of One Piece episode 1,000 premieres today!

Anime streaming giant Crunchyroll has added the English-dubbed episodes 989 thru 1,000 of One Piece to their platform on Tuesday, August 15th, 2023.

Fans in Canada, the United States, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa can catch the high seas hijinks with the English-voiced crew according to a press release from Crunchyroll.

As part of the ongoing Wano Country arc, the thousandth episode originally aired on November 21st, 2021. The anime adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s long-running manga One Piece first broadcast on October 20th, 1999.

Entranced with the desire to become King of the Pirates, Monkey D. Luffy sets out on to find the ultimate treasure, the One Piece, hidden by the former King of the Pirates, Gol D. Roger. Luffy isn’t the only one looking for the loot as other fearsome buccaneers and the dreaded Marines are all in to find it first.
