If chibi characters, pastel colours and Asian treats are your thing, head on over to KawaiiCon Vancouver between 11:00 am and 7:00 pm on Saturday, September 30th, 2023 at the Croatian Cultural Centre.
Browse more than 70 vendors and local independent artisans offering all sorts of themed goods from anime, manga, K-Pop, East Asian culture and pop culture fandoms. There’s also a costume contest and sticker rally to participate in.
Admission is $5.00 or free if you show up in cosplay; tickets are available for purchase online. As the market falls on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, attendees not appearing in costume are asked to wear orange; remaining proceeds will be donated to the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation.
The Croatian Cultural Centre has free parking onsite and is an eleven-minute walk south from the Commercial-Broadway SkyTrain station on the Expo and Millennium Lines.
