Attack on Titan finale commemorated by global artists

For over a decade, the Attack on Titan anime has captivated fans around the world. With the release of the dubbed finale this evening, Crunchyroll called upon the art community to commission works marking this animated achievement.

Six artists — Hieu Nguyen from Australia, Marguerite Sauvage from France, Thomas von Kummant from Germany, Jacopo Camagni from Italy, Matt Taylor from the United Kingdom, and Adam Burke from the United States — created stunning pieces based upon characters and scenes within Attack on Titan.

Attack on Titan is an incredibly deep series which offered an immense source of inspiration for these artists, brilliantly captured in these epic illustrations.

Attack on Titan Final Season THE FINAL CHAPTERS Special 2 has an hour-and-twenty-five-minute runtime is directed by Yuichiro Hayashi, with series composition by Hiroshi Seko, character designs by Tomohiro Kishi, chief animation directors Daisuke Niinuma and Manabu Akita, music by Kohta Yamamoto and Hiroyuki Sawano, and with animation by MAPPA.

The fate of the world hangs in the balance as Eren unleashes the ultimate power of the Titans. With a burning determination to eliminate all who threaten Eldia, he leads an unstoppable army of Colossal Titans towards Marley. Now a motley crew of his former comrades and enemies scramble to halt his deadly mission, the only question is, can they stop him?

Crunchyroll will stream the English, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and German dubs of Attack on Titan Final Season THE FINAL CHAPTERS Special 2 at 9:00 pm PST on Sunday, January 7th, 2024.
