Dragon Ball DAIMA to release in fall 2024; new trailer revealed

A new trailer showing a small Goku engaging in two of his favourite habits was shared to YouTube to promote the upcoming anime Dragon Ball DAIMA which is expected later this year.

In the brief 61-second video, Goku is shown feasting on a variety of foods and fighting off a multitude of aliens and monsters. No dialogue was present in the trailer, only orchestral music.

Also exhibited were artwork of the characters, including that of Goku and Krillin, in a chibi-style that is utilized by the upcoming series.

Dragon Ball DAIMA was first revealed during New York Comic Con on Thursday, October 12th, 2023.

Dragon Ball DAIMA features original work, story and character designs by Akira Toriyama, with series directors Yoshitaka Yashima and Aya Komaki, animation character designer Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru, and, series composition and scenarios by Yuko Kakihara.

The original Dragon Ball manga celebrates its 40th anniversary this year.
