A Tamashii Nations pop-up store is coming to Burnaby’s Metropolis at Metrotown for the first week of March, offering collectors an opportunity to peruse the latest anime figures and models in person.
The online webstore is best known for kits of Gundam units, alongside its S.H.Figuarts, FiguartsZERO, Figuarts mini and PROPLICA lines many of which feature characters from Naruto, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Dragon Ball, One Piece and Kamen Rider.
The Japanese brand has held pop-up stores around the world, with stops in Paris, Mexico City, Los Angeles, in addition to events like Anime Expo, San Diego Comic Con, and Anime NYC (pictured at top). They also have permanent storefronts in Tokyo, Shanghai, and New York.
Fans will find the Tamashii Nations satellite store in the Grand Court of Metropolis at Metrotown beginning Friday, March 1st and running through Monday, March 11th, 2024 from 10:00 am – 9:00 pm on Monday to Saturday, and 10:00 am – 7:00 pm on Sundays.
