Naruto partners with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in new comic

Two groups of ninjas are teaming up in an epic new collaboration between Naruto and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles that is slated to land on shelves on November 13th, 2024.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Naruto is written by Caleb Goellner, with artwork by Hendry Prasetya, colour by Raúl Angulo, lettering by Ed Dukeshire, and published by IDW Publishing.

Details regarding the release were shared during a panel at San Diego Comic Con.

An image illustrated by Jorge Jiménez of Naruto Uzumaki with Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello leaping over the Hokage’s Mansion in Konoha continues to circulate on social media garnering buzz for this crossover.

VIZ Media holds the North American license for the Naruto series.

Created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles took the 1980’s and 1990’s by storm, first with comics, animated television shows, movies and video games. Four turtles, mutated by radioactive waste, reside in the sewers below New York City. Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello, under the supervision of martial arts master Splinter, fight crime that plagues the world above.

Naruto is a hit manga series by Masashi Kishimoto; since 1999, it has been adapted into an anime, full-length movies, video games and a sequel. Naruto Uzumaki dreams of becoming his village’s most strongest ninja — the Hokage. Despite a rough upbringing, Naruto perseveres, teaming up with Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno and the feared Kakashi Hatake, begins a journey that tests his friendships and his ambitions.
