A fall edition of the popular Asian market is setting up at the Robson Square Ice Rink on the weekend of September 14th and 15th, 2024. Japan Market celebrates all things Japanese through food, music, cultural demonstrations, and, artisan goods.
Peruse the stalls setup in the covered rink for artwork, ceramic crafts, kawaii gifts, kimonos, handicrafts, and of course, delicious food, drinks and snacks. Visit the market’s website for a list of vendors and maps of participating merchants. Entertainment options include live music, cultural demonstrations, and a chance to meet some samurai!
Japan Market is open between 10:00 am through 5:00 pm on both Saturday and Sunday. A $5.00 CAD admission ($4.00 if purchased online early) is required to enter and peruse the stalls and are available for purchase online. Save the hassle of finding parking by riding transit — the Robson Square Ice Rink is right next to the Vancouver Art Gallery on Robson Street and Howe Street, just a ten minute walk from Granville Station on the Expo Line or five minutes from Vancouver City Centre on the Canada Line.
