Without a doubt, Nintendo has created some of the most amazing music for its video games. From the fields of Hyrule to the, skies of the Mushroom Kingdom, and the majestic Rainbow Road, many of these tunes are memorable as they are iconic.
Now, the Japanese gaming giant is offering Nintendo Switch Online members access to its library filled with over 40 years of ballads, jingles, and more, within a mobile app simply called Nintendo Music.
More than just a basic music player, Nintendo Music allows listeners to stream music or download it within the player when connectivity is limited. Search for songs by game, track name, playlist, or with a screenshot! Loop tracks for 15, 30, or 60 minutes when the mood hits. And worried about a song being a spoiler? There’s a filter to keep that from happening. Switch players can receive recommendations based on their activity from the console!
Nintendo Music is available on both Android and Apple iOS devices and free for those with a Nintendo Switch Online and Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack account in Canada and the United States.
A Nintendo Switch Online individual membership here in Canada costs $4.99 CAD a month or $24.99 CAD for the year, while the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack is priced at $63.99 CAD a year.
