Wake up to your favourite Nintendo Switch game themes with a unique alarm clock from the Japanese gaming company. Alarmo goes on sale in Canada and the United States in early 2025, but those with a Nintendo Switch Online subscription can pre-order it now through the My Nintendo Store.
This is no ordinary alarm clock. Alarmo has built-in sensors to detect motion; dismissing your wake-up is easy as getting out of bed; or wave of your hand gives you an extra few minutes to sleep in. Steady Mode allows the alarm to progressively increase in volume or select Gentle Mode to keep the sounds at a normal level; Button mode exists for those who need to press something before they get out of bed. A restless sleeper can check their movements through the Records screen. And, set an hourly chime from a selection of sounds from your favourite Switch title.
Alarmo’s design is reminiscent of Mario with the red, white and black colours emulating his outfit. There’s a 2.8 inch LCD screen that displays the date, time, upcoming alarms, and animations. On top is are three buttons – the large illuminating white button which acts as both a dial and confirmation button, a back button and notification button.

Choose from five Nintendo titles to tailor your morning and evening routines: Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Splatoon 3, Pikmin 4 and Ring Fit Adventure. Linking a Nintendo account to Alarmo will allow a free download of scenes from Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Animal Crossing: New Horizons as they become available.
Alarmo has an MSRP of $129.99 CAD and includes a USB-C cable for charging, but not an AC adapter, which is sold separately.
An exact launch date was not provided in the press release.
