A new trailer and key visual for the eighth and final season of My Hero Academia was shown at AnimeJapan 2025 in Tokyo, Japan. New episodes are scheduled to air in October 2025, which Crunchyroll will stream globally outside of Asia.
My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON is the exciting conclusion, culminating in an epic battle between young hero Izuku “Deku” Midoriya and villain Shigaraki.

Working on My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON are director Naomi Nakayama, with series composition by Yosuke Kuroda, chief director Kenji Nagasaki, character designers Yoshihiko Umakoshi and Hitomi Odashima, music composer Yuki Hayashi, with animation production by Bones Film.
Written and illustrated by Kohei Horikoshi, the My Hero Academia manga concluded on August 5th, 2024 following a ten-year run in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, where it was first serialized on July 7th, 2014. In North America, VIZ Media holds the license to publish the English-translated manga.
