My Hero Academia - Deku

New illustrations and free episodes celebrate 10th anniversary of My Hero Academia anime

On April 3rd, 2016, the very first episode of My Hero Academia aired. Now, exactly ten years later, a number of special events were unveiled to mark the anniversary.

A special key visual, illustrated by series character designer Yoshihiko Umakoshi, the image is a compilation of 32 characters — heroes and villains alike.

Also shown was a new key visual for the upcoming episode “More,” which was first announced last December during Jump Festa. It will premiere on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026, at 5:30 pm JST (1:30 am PDT / 4:30 am EDT) on streaming services yet to be confirmed.

Lastly, the first three seasons of My Hero Academia are being made free to watch on YouTube for a limited time, with Episodes 1 through 13 available now. A schedule was provided from TOHO Animation.

  • Season 1 – Episodes 1-13: April 3rd, 5:00 am PDT – May 3rd, 7:59 am PDT
  • Season 2 – Episodes 14-26: April 30th, 8:00 am PDT – May 31st, 7:59 am PDT
  • Season 2 – Episodes 27-38: May 31st, 8:00 am PDT – June 30th, 7:59 am PDT
  • Season 3 – Episodes 39-51: June 30th, 8:00 am PDT – July 31st, 7:59 am PDT
  • Season 3 – Episodes 52-63: July 31st, 8:00 am PDT – August 31st, 7:59 am PDT

Adapted from Kohei Horikoshi’s manga, My Hero Academia was animated by Bones. The series concluded on Saturday, December 13th, 2025, after 170 episodes across eight seasons.
