This morning, Aniplex released a new teaser for the upcoming anime film Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: The Movie: Mugen Train, including a new theme song titled “Homura” by Japanese singer LiSA.

The film is scheduled for release in Japan this October, and last month it was revealed that it is also planned for theatres in Canada and the United States, minus a date. It was revealed that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: The Movie: Mugen Train will screen sometime in 2021, but timing was not revealed. The lack of a concrete date is due to the uncertainty with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and government restrictions on large gatherings.

LiSA is best known for her songs used as the opening and closing themes for Sword Art Online, My Hero Academia, Fate/Apocrypha and in the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba series.

Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, Kyojuro and Inosuke are shown boarding a train in the dead of winter, amid reports of mysterious disappearances in its many coaches. And like much of their adventures, it’s anything but a normal trip as the train itself has another demonic customer riding on board…
