Get ready! Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie is hitting Cineplex theatres across Canada on March 18^th, 2022 both in Japanese with subtitles and dubbed into English.

Yuta Okkotsu (pictured at top) hasn’t overcome the death of his longtime friend Rika Orimoto — that’s because her malevolent spirit remains bonded to him. Wherever Yuta goes, Rika follows with death and destruction. Yuta’s plan to cut himself off from the world to prevent further harm is disrupted by the appearance of the sorcerer Satoru Gojo. Instead, Gojo offers to help Yuta control Rika’s ghost by attending Jujutsu High School and train himself in the Jujutsu arts alongside weapon wielder Maki Zenin, verbal sorcerer Toge Inumaki, and the anthropomorphic Panda who can manipulate corpses. Togehter, they help Yuta improve his skills and live with Rika’s specter to help fight off the demons attacking humanity.

The movie is an adaptation of the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 manga by Gege Akutami, and serves as a prequel to Jujutsu Kaisen. The manga is published in North America by Viz Media, while the anime is available on both Crunchyroll and Funimation.

Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie is directed by Seong-Hu Park, with series creator Gege Akutami serving as writer, and animated by Mappa. Park also directed the Jujutsu Kaisen anime series, which premiered in 2020. The cast includes voices who appeared in the televised series.
