In a first, TransLink has announced a limited-edition collaboration with DC to release four DC Super Hero-themed Compass Cards emblazoned with the likeness of Batman, Superman, The Flash and Wonder Woman. Each card comes with a matching poster, lanyard and protective card holder.
Fans can pick up their favourite Justice League member for $39.95 each starting at 3:00 pm PDT on Friday, June 16th, 2023 at the Stadium-Chinatown Station inside the former Compass Customer Service Centre. According to TransLink, stock is limited to 1,000 cards of each character, so show up early.
Previous special edition Compass Cards sold out quickly; most of those cards found their way onto online marketplaces with resellers asking for well over their original retail prices. Last December, TransLink released a mini Compass Card in the shape of a SkyTrain vehicle for $6.00 which proved exceptionally popular.
