Batten down the hatches! English dub of One Piece has moored on Crunchyroll

At long last, the English dub of One Piece has arrived on Crunchyroll, following the 1,000th dubbed episode showing during Anime Expo 2023 earlier this week.

As of July 5th, 2023, Crunchyroll will stream episodes 1 through 976 for the first time ever, with new episodes following as they are released for viewers in Canada, the United States, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa.

The anime adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s manga One Piece premiered on television in 1999, and subsequently broadcast in English in 2004 from 4Kids Entertainment, before Funimation acquired the license in 2007.

The English voice cast credits the following talent:

  • Roronoa Zoro voiced by Christopher R. Sabat
  • Nami voiced by Luci Christian
  • Usopp voiced by Sonny Strait

Entranced with the desire to become King of the Pirates, Monkey D. Luffy sets out on to find the ultimate treasure, the One Piece, hidden by the former King of the Pirates, Gol D. Roger. Luffy isn’t the only one looking for the loot as other fearsome buccaneers and the dreaded Marines are all in to find it first.
