When Wave 5 of the Booster Course Pass for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe launches July 12th, 2023, gamers will get to hit the streets of Vancouver once again, this time on the Nintendo Switch.
Tour Vancouver Velocity (pictured at top), drivers will weave their way past the Olympic Cauldron, Lion’s Gate Bridge, Stanley Park Drive and North Shore Mountains all under a shimmering Aurora Borealis.
The West Coast city made its first appearance in the mobile game Mario Kart Tour back in February 2020.
Other courses in Wave 5 include Wii Koopa Cape, and Wii Moonview Highway from Mario Kart Wii; Tour Los Angeles Laps, Tour Athens Dash from Mario Kart Tour; GCN Daisy Cruise from Mario Kart Double Dash!!; GBA Sunset Wilds from Mario Kart Super Circuit; and a brand new track titled Squeaky Clean Sprint.
This DLC requires a full copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe to play.
