The Richmond Oval is hosting a family-friendly in partnership with Nintendo of Canada with two evenings packed with fun, video games, and a special screening of The Super Mario Bros. Movie on Saturday, September 2nd, and Sunday, September 3rd, 2023.
Pop into Toad’s Playhouse to take part in games with Mario and his friends and demo some of Nintendo’s hottest titles like Pikmin 4 and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. There’s also photo opportunities with sets from these games, giveaways, trivia and even Mario Kart 8 Deluxe races on the big screen.
Doors open at 6:00 pm PDT and the movie starts at 8:30 pm PDT. The Nintendo Switch Cinema Experience is free, but registration is required to secure a spot. Visit the Nintendo website site for further details.
The Super Mario Bros. Movie premiered in Canada on April 5th, 2023.
