English dub of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End now on Crunchyroll

The first four episodes of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End dubbed in English are now available on Crunchyroll, according to the anime streaming service.

The English voice cast is credited with:

  • Mallorie Rodak as Frieren
  • Jill Harris as Fern
  • Christopher Guerrero as Eisen
  • Jason Douglas as Heiter
  • Clifford Chapin as Himmel
  • Jordan Dash Cruz as Stark

Staff working on the English dub are ADR director Jad Saxton, ADR producer Colleen Clinkenbeard, ADR script writer Macy Anne Johnson, ADR mixer Gino Palencia, and ADR engineer Sawyer Pfledderer.

Crunchyroll provided a synopsis of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End:

After the party of heroes defeated the Demon King, they restored peace to the land and returned to lives of solitude. Generations pass, and the elven mage Frieren comes face to face with humanity’s mortality. She takes on a new apprentice and promises to fulfill old friends’ dying wishes. Can an elven mind make peace with the nature of life and death? Frieren embarks on her quest to find out.

Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End is adapted from the manga written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe; in Japan it is serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine, while Viz Media publishes the English-translated version for the North American market. The anime debuted on September 29th, 2023, and is streamed globally outside of Asia on Crunchyroll.
