Metro Vancouver transit free for New Year’s Eve

Ring in 2024 without having to pay for a night out riding SkyTrain, bus or SeaBus. TransLink will waive fares from 5:00 pm PST on Sunday, December 31st, 2023 until 5:00 am PST on Monday, January 1st, 2024.

All transit services will operate on Sunday/Holiday schedule with an extra hour added to accommodate late-night revelers.

SkyTrain

Expo Line
Last train leaves Waterfront towards King George at 2:16 am
Last train leaves Waterfront towards Lougheed Town Centre at 2:11 am

Millennium Line
Last train leaves VCC-Clark towards Lafarge Lake-Douglas at 2:22 am
Last train leaves Lafarge Lake-Douglas towards VCC-Clark at 2:00 am

Canada Line
Last train leaves Waterfront towards YVR-Airport at 2:05 am
Last train leaves Waterfront towards Richmond-Brighouse at 2:15 am

Bus

30 additional buses added throughout the system with select routes running on an extended schedule. Night Buses will run into the early hours of January 1st.

SeaBus

15 minute service until 1:22 am between Waterfront and Lonsdale.
30 minute service until 2:22 am (final sailing)

West Coast Express

No trains will operate.

On Monday, January 1st, 2024, SkyTrain, SeaBus and bus service will follow their Sunday/holiday schedule which runs later and on a reduced timetable. West Coast Express will not operate.

Forgot something while on the bus or train? TransLink’s Lost Property Office will re-open on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024.
