A new video trailer promoting the upcoming film Haikyu!! The Movie: Decisive Battle at the Garbage Dump along with its theme song, was announced this evening at Jump Festa 2024.
Following the trailer reveal, a pre-recorded message by Japanese rock band SPYAIR confirmed their song “Orange” was selected as the movie’s theme. Other titles by the band, “Imagination,” “I’m a Believer,” and “One Day” played over the opening and closing credits for the Haikyu!! anime series.
Hosting the event on stage were the voice actors from the anime: Ayumu Murase (Shoyo Hinata), Kaito Ishikawa (Tobio Kageyama), Yuichi Nakamura (Tetsuro Kuroo) and Yuki Kaji (Kenma Kozume).
Series creator Haruichi Furudate sketched Shoyo Hinata and Tobio Kageyama bundled up in warm clothing for the two-day event. Translated, the text reads “Don’t catch a cold!”
Haikyu!! The Movie: Decisive Battle at the Garbage Dump will premiere in Japanese theatres on February 16th, 2024.
