To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Tite Kubo’s manga Bleach, Viz Media has reprinted the first volume with a special cover featuring Ichigo Kurosaki, his sister Yuzu and Soul Reaper Rukia Kuchiki.

Using exclusive artwork by Kubo himself, the characters are overlayed the 20th anniversary red-and-white type logo reading XX BLEACH 20TH ANNIV.

Ichigo Kurosaki is your average high school student but with unique powers giving him the ability to see spirits. Upon encountering an injured Soul Reaper named Rukia Kuchiki, Ichigo finds this meeting was not a coincidence and is temporarily granted her powers to begin hunting down rogue spirits called Hollows while Rukia recuperates. Together with his schoolmates who also wield special strengths, Ichigo must use their abilities to infiltrate the world of the Soul Reapers and save Rukia from certain death.
